Located on the waterfront in downtown St. Augustine is our romantic venue with panoramic water views, private bayfront balcony, elegant hardwood floors, mahogany bar, white grand columns and chivari chairs. Built in 1888 The White Room and our newest addition "The Loft & Rooftop" (indoor & outdoor) are the perfect setting for your wedding reception, ceremony, rehearsal dinner, brunch, or other special event accommodating 50 to 350 + guests.

The White Room Tasting
On November 21st, The White Room hosted a tasting for the next quarter of wedding receptions. At the event brides were able to sample some of this season's innovative entrees, appetizer, wines, and colorful signature drinks. The room was decorated with chandeliers above the dance floor and some of the next season's popular floral centerpieces were also displayed on various tables. The next tasting event will be hosted in February.

Young Professionals of St. Augustine Womanless Beauty Pageant
This years Womanless Beauty Pageant will be held on November 4th. The event will be hosted at the White Room and doors will open at 6pm.

The format this year will reflect 7 contestants representing 7 different local charities:

Justin Black - Boys and Girls Club
Larry Lake - Caring Hands, Caring Community
Bruce Kather - St. Augustine Lighthouse
Grant Misterly - Ancient City Road Runners
Clay Seckinger - Council on Aging
Rob Matthews - The ARC
Ryan Carter - St. Augustine Youth Services

Each contestant is working on a voting campaign that will hopefully earn her the distinguished honor of the 2010 Miss YPO. As in the past, $1 = 1 vote.

Each charity will automatically receive 80% of the voting dollars their contestant raises, the last 20% will be divided between the top two contestants. So the stakes are high this year!

Tickets are $30 per person. You may reserve a table of 10 for $300. No table seating will be available without reservation. You may pre order tickets / tables by emailing info@staugypo.com.

The White Room will be attending the 2010 Jacksonville Summer-Fall Bridal Fantasy bridal show, Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Renaissance Resort inside World Golf Village.
The 2010 Jacksonville Summer-Fall Bridal Fantasy bridal show is the largest and most spectacular bridal show in Jacksonville for the summer and fall seasons; it’s where you’ll find everything needed for a spring, summer, fall, or winter wedding!
Here is your chance to visit in person with OVER 100 of the area’s finest wedding professionals featuring services such as catering, wedding cakes, wedding florals and decor, gift registries, wedding reception entertainment, wedding invitations, travel and honeymoon services, wedding photography, wedding consultants, videographers, overnight accommodations, plus much more!
Bridal show doors open at 1PM. The White Room Tasting
A tasting of some of our most popular entrees, stations, and appetizers will be hosted for the next quarter of wedding receptions at The White Room from 1pm to 3pm!

It is encouraged that if your wedding is from now until December 2010 that you attend this tasting. If your event is from the end of January 2011 and beyond, the next tasting will be sometime mid to late November. It is always better to attend a tasting closer to your event so that everything is fresh in your mind :)

The tasting event is complimentary for two attendees. We are capping this event at 80 attendees. RSVP's are required and due no later than August 9th. Please RSVP to eventmanager@ocwhiteroom.com

2nd Annual 4th of July Rooftop Celebration
The White Room will be hosting its 2nd Annual 4th of July Rooftop Celebration.
Pre admission this year will be $75 per person and will include a fresh market station with fruit and imported cheeses, salad, a shrimp and grits station, Rosemary and Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Bing Cherry Chicken, garlic herb whipped potatoes, fire roasted vegetable and dessert.

We will also be hosting an open Premium Bar including Smirnoff Vodka, Bombay Gin, Bacardi Rum, Dewars Scotch, Canadian Club Whiskey, Jim Beam Bourban and Jose Cuervo Tequila.

Doors open at 7:30pm and we will be celebrating until midnight. A valid ID must be presented at the door and appropriate casual dress is required.

Nights of Lights Weekend Wedding! Congratulations to Stephanie and Matt!

Stephanie and Matt had their ceremony on the Rooftop and the reception continued in the Loft. The bride's colors were navy blue and green--very J Crew. The centerpieces were white hydrangeas and tea lights which illuminated the brick room. The bride and groom cruised away on a tandem bicycle with a lit pathway of sparklers, family, and friends.
